Ho ho ho! Yes, December has just kicked in, so we’ve officially entered the Christmas period now. Everywhere you keep seeing reindeers, Christmas trees, people singing carols, mince pies (or perhaps turrón and mantecados, depending where you live!)… and we though that you probably wouldn’t want to leave the Christmas spirit behind just to play Super Time Bomb, right?

We’ve got a tasty update ready for project page, just in time for most spooky festivity of the year. We know all of you love to dress up for Halloween, so now you can get a couple of really scary outfits for Lollipop the bunny as well! We’ve included a really creepy zombie skin, and a very festive carved pumpking head.

Arduino Radio Improvements - Low Consumption

In our previous post about how to send Readings From Arduino to a Raspberry Pi via radio we explained the basics of the Arduino-Raspberry Pi comunication and we shared a simple code.

But there is more, with a mix of hardware and software, we managed to reduce its power consumption down to the minimum (between 1mAh and 0mAh while sleeping). Which means, your portable sensor will be able to function autonomously with an external battery for the longest time possible.
